The ewes are now just over 2 months away from lambing and will soon start getting hay. Last years Lambs are still growing fast with the ram lambs now up to 64Kg. The late autumn sales have been very successful with us selling ewes for breeding as well as rams for crossing. The season moves round quickly.... in a months time preparation will start for the next showing season with the shearing of show sheep. Below is Newburn Jericho in his winter clothes

September 2007
All of the ewes have been served by their chosen ram and are now all running with Cagedale Don (Kington show first prize). This years lambs are growing well with the largest ram lambs now weighing 55kg and the ewe lambs 48-50kg.
Thankfully the lifting of some of the FMD restrictions this week has meant that we have been able to deliver some of the sheep that were sold during the period of movement restriction.
Kington Show September 2007

There was a very good turn out of 7 exhibitors at the show this year and again we had a good year gaining Reserve Breed Champion, Two Firsts, a Second and a Third in the Four classes. Recently, we have had a good record at Kington gaining Two Supreme Breed Champions and three Reserve Breed Champions in the last Four years. Pictured is The Don winning the ram class
